Network marketing advertising sites are pretty easy to find. You may have found this article by searching one of the popular search engines for “network marketing advertising sites” or something similar.

The real question is: Which of these sites should you be advertising on? Consider the following as you make your decision about choosing where to spend your advertising budget:

Is the site you are looking at focused on the industry overall? Many times, a site is really nothing more than a lead capture system for someone else. This may or may not be a good fit. If the site gets a lot of traffic, it may be worth considering.

But the real key to consider is: Can you run ads about your product or service and not just the opportunity itself? I see a lot of network marketers wasting their advertising budget on cliche ads or over hyped ads talking all about the money. Of course, money is one of the big reasons any of us are looking at these ads, but just advertising the money side really isn’t going to get you anywhere.

Your advertising should focus on the benefit of using your product or service. When I was involved with a well known coffee company, I focused most of my advertising on the simplicity of a “healthier cup of coffee”. Someone offering a weight loss product would be focusing on the benefit of losing the weight, feeling better, etc…

This site you are on right now is a good example. Most of the people that come to this site are already involved with some sort of network marketing opportunity or they are considering network marketing. If your ad just screams  “make money” or “join my team”, you are going to miss out on some of the best prospects.

So, it makes sense for you to craft your ads to show the problem you can solve or the solution you can provide. “Get Paid” is weak. “Get Paid To _______” is better.

Think like a problem solver more than a recruiter and create your ads to show folks how you can help them solve a problem AND get paid in the process.
