GETTING PROSPECTS

This is the biggest challenge network marketers face. Most start out with a TON of enthusiasm and very little training. As a result, they don’t know how to properly approach the people they do know. Then they struggle to talk to people they don’t know. They start out thinking, “This is the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen” and they can’t understand why everyone else doesn’t feel the same say.

Starting with your “warm market” (friends and family) can be great if you know how to do it. You should definitely work with your spline to learn how to properly approach this market.

The best option is to use both methods and be consistently generating new prospects.

FOLLOWING UP

Whens someone tells us they are interested, we get excited. We think, “I got one!” and then … crickets. They don’t show up for the meeting. They don’t watch the video and call you back. They don’t answer your phone calls. They stop asking questions. This could be due to any number of possible reasons. Maybe they got distracted. Maybe they are confused or scared. Maybe it’s not the right time.

Or when someone does get started, we take our eyes off other prospects and focus everything on that one in front of us.

This is where following up with your prospects become critical. Ideally, you would use an autoresponder system to keep your information in front of interested prospects and keep your opportunity. “front of mind”.

KEEPING THE SYSTEM DUPLICATABLE

This is where a lot of folks get lost. They want to reinvent the wheel instead of focusing on a system that has been proven to get results. When you have a system that will help you generate leads and consistently follow up, you want to make sure you stay focused on that system. The next step is to teach that system to your new referrals and help them stay focused.

The simplicity of network marketing is that if we are constantly generating new leads and following up our business will grow. This is how we overcome the challenges of network marketing.
